Previously, at the ceremony for launching and receiving donations from individuals, units, agencies and businesses to the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund, Mr. Hoang Quoc Vuong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrovietnam awarded 400 billion dong to contribute to the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund. Up to now, this amount has been fully transferred by Petrovietnam to the Fund’s account.

With the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, responsibility for the community, joining hands with the Party, State and people throughout the country in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, Petrovietnam has actively joined hands with the Government and people in the whole country to quickly repel the pandemic, for the highest goal of keeping a safe environment for the people, maintaining production, and contributing to ensuring the implementation of the “dual goal” of effective epidemic prevention, control and socio-economic development. So far, the support activities of the Group and its member units in the prevention of Covid-19 have been more than 500 billion dong.

In the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, with the determination to ensure absolute safety, not disrupt production and business activities, closely follow the direction of the Central Authority, Government and other agencies, Petrovietnam promptly issued a series of specific solutions, actively reviewed, updated plans for epidemic prevention and control. Thereby, the Group has controlled well the epidemic, maintained the stability and safety of production and business activities. Petrovietnam and its member units are also actively coordinating with ministries, branches and medical facilities to deploy Covid-19 vaccination for all employees in the Group. As of 21st June 2021, Petrovietnam has organized 02 rounds of vaccination for 2,450 workers.
