Attending the meeting were representative leaders of Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR), Vietnam Petroleum Institute (VPI) and leaders of Divisions/ Administration Office of the Group. 

At the meeting, Mr. Stéphane Wermester thanked Petrovietnam’s leaders for facilitating and supporting AXENS in cooperation and provision of technological solutions for Dung Quat Oil Refinery over the years as well as the cooperation projects between AXENS and Petrovietnam.

On the occasion, AXENS leader also informed and introduced some areas of AXENS’s activities. Currently, AXENS is focusing on promoting the development of petrochemical refining and petrochemical products. With its background, potential and experience, AXENS leader expressed his desire to participate in researching cooperation opportunities with Petrovietnam and its subsidiaries in the field.

On behalf of the Group’s leaders, Mr. Bui Minh Tien thanked and appreciated the cooperation between AXENS and BSR over the years. He shared that in the Group’s development strategy, in line with the trend of energy transition, Petrovietnam would promote the field of petrochemical refining and processing of petroleum products.

Petrovietnam leader hoped that AXENS and Petrovietnam would continue to research and seek opportunities for cooperation and development in new projects and actively exchange information, experience and technology in the implementation and operation of factories, petrochemical refinery projects. Petrovietnam leaders would create favorable conditions to support AXENS in investing and developing petrochemical refinery projects in Vietnam.
