During an official visit to the United States, Vietnam's Minister of Industry and Trade, Nguyen Hong Dien, led a working delegation—including representatives from Petrovietnam Group and its subsidiaries—to engage with the US Trade Representative (USTR), the Department of Energy (DOE), and other relevant agencies. As part of this trip, Petrovietnam and its member units signed several economic and trade cooperation agreements with US partners.

On February 21, in Vung Tau City, Petrovietnam hosted its 2025 annual meeting with contractors, operators, and partners in the oil and gas sector currently operating in Vietnam.
On March 26, 2025, a delegation from Malaysia’s national oil and gas company PETRONAS, led by Vice President Mr. Shamsairi M. Ibrahim, visited the headquarters of PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) to explore opportunities for enhanced cooperation in the gas and LNG value chain. The working session was part of efforts to implement the Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) previously signed between Petrovietnam and PETRONAS.
A well-defined growth strategy for Petrovietnam will play a crucial role in driving the country's double-digit growth in the upcoming phase. On the afternoon of February 19th, immediately after the National Assembly passed the Resolution on several exclusive mechanisms and policies for investing in the construction of the Ninh Thuan nuclear power project, Petrovietnam organized the conference "Nuclear Power - New Aspiration of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group."
