The completed and operated projects will contribute to stabilizing national energy security, supplementing the shortage of gas and electricity in the Southeast region, contributing positively to the economic growth in the Southeast region. In particular, this is a step to accelerate meeting the increasing energy demand for the country's economic development, partly offset the declining domestic gas production and the difficulty facing exploration of alternative oil and gas sources.

PV GAS General Director Duong Manh Son

Mr. Tran Sy Thanh – Petrovietnam Chairman of the Board of Directors emphasizes that it is the first LNG project in Vietnam with special significance in the backward sector of the oil and gas industry.
